16 Aug Leinster pony riders pick up national titles in SJI Championships
It was a great day for Leinster Pony riders as they recorded a host of impressive results in the final day of the Showjumping Ireland Pony Championships at Mullingar. Ruben Foley and Ashwey EL took the win in the MK Surface Treatment Ltd128 1.05 Championships and third with The Silver Legend. Wexford’s Lauren Adams took the win in the Jim Derwin Equestrian 138cm 1.15 Championship with Riot Del Pegulil. Leinster riders took the top six placings in the Hive Insurance Services 148cm 1.25 Championship. Claiming the title was Chloe Hughes Kennedy and Still Got Me, ahead of Alanna Fagan and Kilkillahara Beauty. In third place was Anna White and Red Star Optimus, ahead of Ellie Pothmann and Flash Park Cavalier. Fifth place was filled by Annie Boland and Jimtown, ahead of Maisie Adams and Lexius “E” Van Het Juxschot. In the J. Ryan Haulage Ltd 138 90cm Championship, it was Aimee Bowe and Tinchy Stryder that took this crown, ahead of fellow Leinster rider, Patrick Byrne and Jubilee. Ruben Foley took another title when he emerged victorious in the Absolute Jewellery 148cm 90cm Championship with Brock Blizzard.
