It was a great day for Leinster riders as Meath rider John Floody took the honours in the second round of the TRM Showjumpers Spring Tour in Cavan this evening (30th January). Riding Accidental Diamond, he was the fastest of nine double clears from a 45 starting field in 31.42 seconds. Owned by Kathryn Magennis and bred by John Kearney, Accidental Diamond is a nine-year-old gelding by Diamond Roller and out of the High Roller sired dam, Cottage Donna. Kildare based Cathal Daniels slotted into fifth place when clear in 33.34 aboard Cappog Tomy. The 11-year-old gelding was bred by Tommy Reilly and is by Camiro De Haar Z and out of Cornacassa Ferro. This is the second time the combination have been placed fifth, having claimed fifth in the opening round in Portmore last weekend.The leading working producer also came from Leinster as Val Joy and Imora took this prize.
