13 May Leinster riders feature in Plusvital Premier Series
Leinster riders featured strongly in the opening round of the Plusvital Premier Series at Barnadown last Sunday.
From the 44 combinations that battled it out, Leinster riders filled seven of the top ten spots.
Taking second place behind the winner Niamh McEvoy and Templepatrick Welcome Limmerick was Francis Derwin and Flexi K. Derwin delivered a double clear in 41.50 seconds to take home close to €3,000 for his efforts. Third place was filled by Seamus Hughes Kennedy and ESI Rocky, when he also kept all the poles in place in a time of 44.94. Patrick Hickey accounted for fifth place with Casago II when he finished carrying four faults in a time of 38.48. Francis Derwin completed the top six with AHG Whiterock Cruise Down when he also had one on the ground in a time 38.68. Mikey Pender also crossed the line with one on the ground with HHS Fortune in a time of 39.13. Seamus Hughes Kennedy filled another place in the line-up, slotting into ninth with Castlefield Hera with four faults in a time of 42 seconds. Jason Foley took tenth place with Durango VDL when he crossed the line with four faults in a time of 42.04.
