20 May Eoin Brennan takes the Gain Alltech Grand Prix in Hollypark
It was another good weekend for Leinster riders as they filled four of the top placings in the GAIN Alltech Grand Prix at Hollypark on Saturday. Taking the win was Eoin Brennan when he was the fastest of 11 double clears in the 14 way jump-off aboard Limestone Briarhill Lui in a time of 34.87. Owned by Tim Brennan, the nine-year-old mare was bred by Anne Coyne and is by Kings Cornet and out of Briahill Crusie.
It was a good day for the Brennan family as Timmy Brennan took the runner-up spot with Diadema Della Caccia, when they crossed the line in a time of 35.02. Not content with the win, Eoin Brennan returned to take third place with Eskola M, coming home in 35.34. Vincent Byrne also featured in the line-up, taking sixth with Elsandro Du Bois when they stopped the clock in a time of 36.16.
