06 May Important notice for Mervue Equine Leinster Small Tour Barnadown
The first round of the Mervue Equine Leinster Summer Tour will take place tomorrow at Barnadown and as in previous years, will be an exciting tour with leading names contesting this league. Due to circumstances beyond the Leinster Region’s control, this week’s 1.10m & 1.20m of the Mervue Equine Small Tour will be run under the rules of Barnadown Show. Riders need to jump on either tomorrow or Saturday to qualify for the prize fund on Sunday. Points will be awarded to the winner of Mervue 1.10 & 1.20 on Sunday. All the action of the 1.35m section will be live streamed tomorrow on www.irishsport.tv.
The 1.35m will take place tomorrow Friday 7th May and already some of familiar names are on the start-list. Reigning Champion Paddy O’ Donnell has declared Minority Report and he is one to watch. as he will be looking to put points on the board early in the league. Other names on the start-list include previous league winners Francis Connors and Tholm Keane. Last week’s Grand Prix winner, Tim Macdonagh has also declared as has Clem Mc Mahon, John Floody, Greg Broderick to name put a few.
