13 yr old jack Ryan had a weekend to remember at the pony owners in Millstreet .he got off to a flying start when taking the top 3 spots in the children on horses 120 1st on Niamh burkes harlequin beauty 2nd Annmarie Fagan’s Pocahontas and 3rd with Eddie Moloneys GVS Captain ,also claiming top spot in the 110 on Pocahontas .Saturday again Ryan dominating the young rider classes winning both the 120 & 130 with Pocahontas & Cavalier teaca & taking 2nd in the 110 with Pocahontas .sunday saw jack continue his good run of form when winning the children on horses Grand Prix on the ever consistent coloured mare Pocahontas and also took 3rd place with harlequin beauty .pocahantus also took 2nd place in the hotly contested 120 final in the international outdoor arena when piped at the post by Jessica Burke riding castle lawn splendid . To top off the weekend went on to win the €5000 u/25 young rider Grand Prix riding Eddie Moloneys captain carusette with 11 through to the jump off Ryan took every advantage of his pole position draw and got to watch a few riders including the leader new zelander Jake hunter who had a very quick round on cornets little and Ryan decided to take a gamble of turning inside to fence 5 a wide oxer on the corner and it paid off taking a second off hunters time . To top it off jack took the leading u/25 rider of the show
