10 Aug Mikey Pender takes the win in Valekenswaard
Great start to the day for Kildare’s Mikey Pender in Valkenswaard. Mikey took the win in the 1.50m CSIU25 Grand Prix. Riding HHS Calais he lodged the winning round of clear in 37.49 seconds. Earlier in the day, he took the runner-up spot in the in the 1.40m with HHS Catwalk, when clear in 56.90.
Pender alsotook victory in the CSIU25 1.45m. Riding HHS Catwalk he lodged the winning round of clear in 29.92 seconds. Matt Garrigan and HHS Seattle, was also clear in 34.25 for ninth place. Later in the day, Marta Hughes Bravo took second place with HHS Mustang Sally, clear in 26.97. Mikey Pender was back in the ribbons when he took fifth place with HHS Calais in the 1.50m CSIO25.
