16 Aug Pony and Young Riders National Championships will start this week on Thurs at Mullingar Equestrian Center.

A very exciting schedule of showjumping will be held this week at Mullingar Equestrian Centre where the National Pony and Young Riders Committee will host the National Championships at Fagan’s Equestrian Centre in Mullingar for all Pony Riders, Young Riders, Juniors and Children on Horses.  Young Rider under 25 are included in the jumping schedule.

A lot of work has gone into running this event by the two chairpersons of the committee with an exciting  addition of a cinema on site and lots of other extras for the family.

Why not invite your grandparents and friends down to see you compete, as there is  a glassed restaurant  in the center of the arenas with great views of the jumping.

*There will be a prize for the funniest selfie photo taken at the show.  Don’t  forget your cameras and get permission from your parents to take the photo please and put it in the competition.

*Young Riders – If you  give a hand with course building etc when you are free at the show, you will receive a certificate to accredit yourself  for your work.(at least 6 hours over the week end)  This is a very good way to improve your CV and costs you nothing but time.  It is a fantastic help when you wish to apply for  college  or a job.

Once again, tell all your friends to come down and join in the fun at this year’s National Pony and Young Riders Championship at Mullingar Equestrian starting on next Thursday(Ponies) and Friday(Young Riders) and running on till Sunday evening.

There is fantastic prize money on offer and lots of other goodies.
