Sargent Major Steve Hickey RIP –
It is with sadness that we post this notice, letting all Steve’s Showjumping friends know that he has passed away,
During his career, he was recognized as one of the top International Course Designers in the world and on the home turf, he encouraged riders with his advise and experience, but particularly our pony and young riders with his gentle nudge in the right direction. He was a pure gentleman and everyone’s friend. It was our pleasure to know such a talented, decent man.
Only a few weeks ago he was awarded the “Hall of Fame” honour for his contribution to Showjumping. We extend our sympathy to his wife Nora and his family. May he rest in Peace.
