20 Jun Vincent Byrne takes victory in Coilog
Kilkenny’s Vincent Byrne took victory in the GAIN Alltech Grand Prix in Coilog. Riding Quantino, he lodged the winning round of clear in 39.83 seconds.
Fractions of a second behind was Comdt. Geoff Curran and DHF Alliance in a time of 39.92. It was a good day for the Army Equitation riders as Lt. Michaeli Byrne came home with nothing to add in a time of 42.27 for third place.
Abby Morton slotted into fourth with Blue oak Legaland, clear in 43.23, ahead of defending champion Jonathan Smyth and Crystal Graf, four faults in a time of 38.91.
Holly Lenahan and Khalinov also had one down, but in a time of 44.10 for sixth.
