Win for Alexander Butler on Caroline Byrne’s Hallowberry Cruz

30 Jun Win for Alexander Butler on Caroline Byrne’s Hallowberry Cruz

What a horrifying day to wake up to.  Jumping went ahead at  Tattersalls Ward Union Horse Show,  Wednesday 29th June, with the Gods delivering  all the four seasons in one day.  It took courage to run such a fine display of jumping for young horses on the all weather grass arena which delivered  no lasting discomfort to the participants.

The Horseware/TRM Premier Grand Prix sponsored by Sam Dennigan & Co. started at 3pm and saw 12 combinations go into the second round on 0 faults.

Tom Holden, International Course Designer put the riders/horses through a testing course where Alexander Butler from Straffan riding  Caroline Byrne’s Hallowberry Cruz came home with a double clear in the fastest time, thus claiming  the principle prize fund.  Two other combinations got double clear over this testing course.
